About Kevin Kennedy

Kevin is a writer, performer and filmmaker living in Canada's Yukon.

He is a passionate advocate in the fight against climate change. His work often attempts to raise awareness about environmental issues.

He has been writing and performing for nearly twenty years in a variety of media ranging from live theatre to video to the world-wide web. He has been very active in the theatre and film communities in the Northwest Territories and Yukon since arriving in the north in 2001, serving in creative, support, and leadership roles in organizations such as Lunchpail Theatre, Nakai Theatre, Western Arctic Moving Pictures, the Northern Arts and Culture Centre, Efpeedee Players and other groups. He holds a BA in Creative Writing and an MA in English Literature from the University of Victoria and works at an instructor at Yukon College in Whitehorse.
